LNG LNG

In the absence of pipelines, gaseous hydrocarbons may be efficiently transported and stored once they are transformed into a liquid state.
Petroleum gasses liquefy at ambient temperature by compression at a few bars (LPG), but methane (natural gas) needs to be cooled at -160°C to become LNG.
Valves for “low temperature” are those installed in arctic climates or may be exposed at rapid gas depressurization (blow down) and in this case may be “operated or not” in frozen condition as a function of the ordered configuration.
“Cryogenic” valves are normally handling liquefied gas, which like LNG need to operate at extremely low temperatures.
Dual seated cryogenic valves require specialized seating arrangements that exclude liquid trapping into body cavities and guarantee effective downstream sealing performance.
Yuangao produces cryogenic Gate, Globe, Check, Ball & Butterfly valves as well as control valves designed and qualified to BS-6364 with extensive testing at -196°C (Helium tested under Liquid Nitrogen bath).
Yuangao testing capability for LT & CRYO valves is vast (several testing units, NPS 48” already supplied).
Thanks to extensive experience and continuous development assured by our R&D departments with relevant testing facilities we are able to guarantee reliable performance for the complete LNG market that includes, liquefaction processes (also offshore as FLNG), storage, transport via sea and regasification at end-users’ locations.
Process or applications that include other industrial liquefied gasses (e.g. Ethylene) are included in actual capability.
